There is no better way to reunite with nature than a trip deep into the forests of Karelia. We offer a night in a traditional “chum” on Lake Yandri. This remote place is hard to access, and the surrounding area is free from human presence, meaning that all the necessary items are transported with you for a true expedition into the wild. You will travel by snowmobile, and the temperature can fall to -20°C, but don’t worry, your guides will mount the “chum” and light a fire in the hearth. These tents, in the traditional style of reindeer herders, are often used for polar expeditions. Sleeping bags are also included. The 160 km-journey is more suitable for those with experience on a snowmobile.
